Creator

First and foremost, Loren is a creator. They received their BFA from Memphis College of Art in 2018, and have dedicated their life to the value of community work, empathy, and the art of craftsmanship of all forms. They will happily discuss the implications of Claude Cahun’s Disavowals for hours on end and then follow up by delving into the analytical dissection of a composition. Although they are formally trained in a myriad of media, Loren has found a love for traditional collage and manipulating it through both manual and digital lenses. Their personal work focuses heavily on concepts such as nostalgia, generational trauma, manifestation, and acceptance. They currently reside in Philadelphia PA with their partner and their trusty feline sidekick, Turtle.
